Saudi court: No compensation for Mecca crane collapse victims
A Saudi court has cleared a construction company of responsibility for the 2015 collapse of a crane in Mecca’s Grand Mosque, which killed at least 111 people
The court says the Saudi Bin Laden Group, one of the region’s largest construction firms, does not need to compensate the victims, or pay for damages to the Grand Mosque, as the disaster was not caused by human error.

The Saudi Arabian Administrative Court known as "The Board of Grievances," is an independent administrative judicial body, consisting of the Riyadh-based supreme administrative court, administrative courts of appeal in Riyadh, Makkah, Eastern Province, Asir, Madinah, Al-Jouf and Qassim, and 15 administrative courts countrywide. The Board of Grievances is one the most high-tech court systems in the world, with digital filings and pleadings.
